Reindeer Graphics incorporated in 1995 with the mission of producing affordable image processing and measurement tools. Our first product, The Image Processing Tool Kit , came out in 1995 with 45 plug-ins. It was intended as a companion to the Image Processing Handbook by Dr. John Russ and is widely used in teaching classes in image analysis and processing.

Since then, IPTK has been updated several times, and is currently at version 5.0 with more than 175 plug-ins. Professional interest in the IPTK led us to develop a high-end version called FoveaPro that included 16/48 bit image support as well as enhanced automation and feature classification tools. The latest release of FoveaPro is version 4.0, with 170 plug-ins.

Optipix, our Photographic line of processing tools, was developed in a joint project with noted photographer George DeWolfe.  It has been a very fruitful relationship.

ClearID has been developed in association with Ocean Systems and is a state-of-the-art, easy-to-use forensic image clarification suite complete with a self-guiding workflow. It is also useful for image enhancement and photography.
